I’ve already had an in person showdown with parents who were wrongfully force feeding their children organic food. Now that I have actually tasted it… I marvel at the tenacity of children to be able to continue consuming it.

Honestly, Peanut Butter Panda Puffs is lacking in a lot of areas. Their box opening was a chore to say the least. The whole thing with the bag? Really… even if 50% of the people out there notice the little scissor thing, then there’s still 50% of the people who are going to end up with Peanut Butter Panda Puffs running all over the floor. If the bag is mortally wounded like mine was, do you blame it for falling out of the box? Overall, its a horrible eating experience.

Still, the worst thing I found was the severe lack of vitamins and minerals in what is marketed as a children’s cereal. You don’t think it’s marketed to children? Hello! Right there on the top of the box it said EnviroKidz. Not only is their marketing attempts cheap, their commitment of 1% to wildlife funds laughable, but they obviously prefer to promote illiteracy among the nation’s children instead of good reading habits with the ending “z” in EnviroKidz. Sort of the same way they have shunned the concept of good nutrition, and instead are promoting taking vitamins at an early enough age to make the concept of taking pills and possibly illegal drugs more acceptable later on in life.

The bottom line… just because it says organic on the box does not necessarily mean it is better for you… or for your growing child.
