Cereal Wednesday: Life Cereal With Chocolate Oat Clusters

If I didn’t know better, I would have thought that Quaker Oats had put pure golden nuggets in that bag the way it was sealed. I’ve had dehydrated items in cereal before, such as in the case of Special K With Red Berries, which really was not bad at all. The cereal really just tasted like another bowl of Life Cereal. There were not copious amounts of the chocolate clusters, but they were noticeable due to the sever contrast between their dark brownish color and the white milk as well as the clumpy texture. However this dehydrated/freeze dried chocolate was in fact pretty non-existent when it came to taste. It was a huge disappointment to this well documented chocolate lover.
This is one of the reasons why off shoot brands can be both disappointing, yet comforting. If you enjoy Life Cereal as it is, you’re not really diverting yourself from the taste. If you WERE looking for something different, then this really is not it at all.

Yeah, I’d rather just add my own chocolate to normal Life. It really was disappointing.
My first reaction was OMG Life & Chocolate! Woo Hoo!!!
… but the chocolate flavored oat clusters didn’t look too appealing. I’m liking the whole marshmallow idea though.
That’s too bad the chocolate wasn’t very flavorful. I love chocolate too, and I think it would taste very nice with Life.
Avi- Yeah, at least then you know what brand your getting.
Sxymom- Your feeling the marshmallow thing, right? I bet some other people would like it too… like maybe Snap, Crackle, and Pop… lol.
Geeky Tai-Tai- I think your better off getting the Toll House chocolate chip morsels and adding them yourselves.
