So this past weekend the judging for the Viddler MealToday contest happened in Philadelphia. My entry made it into the Top 9 MealTodays. Now that, in and of itself, is quite an achievement considering the high quality, variety of food, and creativity all of the other entries. So here’s the video from the actual judging, where the judges commented on each video and I implore you to watch it in its entirety to find out who the winner was… it’s actually a great video with quite an ending…
So Scott McNulty from ForkYou.tv described me as “an American hero” and Gary Vaynerchuk from Wine Library TV said it was “phenomenal” and he “loved it”. Wow… I felt all misty-eyed… and not just because I’ve been up for around 36 hours straight either… that was pretty deep.
So if you watched the whole video… then you already know that the winner was… ME! Still not too sure how that happened… but it’s a pretty damn awesome thing!
So now I can add 2007 Viddler MealToday Champion to my resume… right next to Cereal Killer!

Congrats, man. I watched your vid and it made me wonder why I never did cereal as one of my MealTodays. Also, your vid made me want some cereal really damn badly. Just typing about it makes me want cereal right now, but I already had a bagel, and I’m late for work, so no Fruit Loops for me.

Avi- I’m going with the camera… while the iPhone is very tempting… it would cost more for me to break my Sprint/Nextel contract to go with AT&T and then… my bill won’t be paid by the company anymore… but now I can eat cereal in HD!!!

Scott- Thanks! Glad you liked it… and yes… I will continue to “eat the good fight” as long as I have a big bowl and cold milk… strawberry or not.
Rachel- I loved watching the video too… and I’m glad they took their time with it because it REALLY came out great… and I was quite shocked at the ending to be honest!
Oz- Thanks! I’m just doing my part… spreadin’ the word… and since they showed the video on a big wall… well I think the word is getting spread more and more each day!
